Watermelon Margherita
1 cup of watermelon cubes, seedless
1 oz lime juice, fresh
1/2 cup of cranberry juice
2 oz of your favorite silver tequila
1 lime wedge
1 tsp kosher salt and 1 tsp sugar, mixed
Preparations:
- Freeze seedless watermelon in a single layer for 2 hours (can be prepared ahead of time)
- Place frozen watermelon, lime juice, cranberry juice, and tequila in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Take the lime wedge and run it across the lip of the cocktail glass. Dip the rim of the glass in the salt and sugar mixture.
- Pour the blended watermelon margherita in the sugar and salt rimmed glass. Garnish with the lime wedge.
